Loooong night in the hospital with very little sleep. Her fever and heart rate are still down, but they want to keep her an additional day and night for observation and for more bloodwork tomorrow night or Thurs morning to see if she'll need some help getting her Hgb up again via transfusion (they are trying to hold off on that because they don't have a match yet and want to avoid a reaction; little PSA for eligible Asian friends - they really need more Asian blood donors!). Randy is trying to talk them into letting us go home for the day and come back for the tests instead. Fingers crossed...

5,000 - The number of times her iv/hr monitors beep during the night.
25 - Stickers that have been happily scattered across the hospital room.
10 - Doctors who said that our daughter is the cutest thing they've ever seen (truthfully, we've lost count, but I think this is a good guess).
9 - Hours attempted to sleep last night.
5 (am) - The hour they came to draw blood again.
4.5 - Hours actually spent sleeping last night.
4 - Gibberish texts that Jun Lan sent to my friend Angelin (every time I left my phone to check her IV).
3 - Doting brothers that came to visit yesterday.
2 - Pints of ice cream consumed last night.
1 - Hour left until they discharge us from the hospital!

That way out, mom! And step on it!
